Issue #7689 has been updated by James Turnbull. Status changed from Merged - Pending Release to Closed Target version set to 1.2
---------------------------------------- Bug #7689: Running baseline comparison is slow https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/7689 Author: Randall Hansen Status: Closed Priority: Normal Assignee: Daniel Pittman Category: Target version: 1.2 Keywords: Branch: Affected URL: Affected Dashboard version: This ticket is to address backend performance, not view-layer performance. Once we know the maximum performance we can get we'll be able to create a user interaction that works with it. The largest set of data we expect to need to handle is comparing 1,000 nodes (each with 1,000 resources) in one group versus one baseline. We have preliminary tests indicating that 500 nodes (each with 10 resources) in one group is too slow to permit user interaction. Maximum 5 baselines per node due to group and individual baselines. Either 2,000 or 4,000 nodes total. They also expect reports to get into the dashboard within an hour, for all nodes. (eg: 2K or 4K reports sent to Dashboard between 11PM and midnight.) -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
