Issue #9256 has been updated by Aditya Patawari.

I have filed a pull request on git hub. Please check out

Bug #9256: postegre complains about missing "inventory_facts_id_seq" table
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/9256

Author: Aditya Patawari
Status: Accepted
Priority: High
Assignee: Aditya Patawari
Category: stored configuration
Target version:
Affected Puppet version:
Keywords: postgre, postgresql, inventory,
Branch:

I had the storeconfig and inventory enabled. When any of the client hits
postgre server, an error is thrown:
err: PGError: ERROR: relation "inventory_facts_id_seq" does not exist
: SELECT currval('inventory_facts_id_seq')

This is due to setting of ":id => false" in
puppet/lib/puppet/rails/database/schema.rb

PS: I also tested using MySQL and it works fine with it.
