Issue #9554 has been reported by Ryan Lane. ---------------------------------------- Feature #9554: A standalone syntax validator https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/9554
Author: Ryan Lane Status: Unreviewed Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: Branch: It would be nice to be able to run a syntax validator that doesn't require any of the rest of puppet. Something basic that just reports obviously broken syntax. A situation that this would be nice in would be when using gerrit. Gerrit doesn't have normal git hooks, and can't reject a push based on bad puppet syntax. Being able to run this on any client without having to install puppet would be ideal. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
