Bug #9453: mcollective init script should not be enabled by default (at least
in RH)
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/9453

Author: Michael Stahnke
Status: Needs More Information
Priority: Normal
Assignee:
Category:
Target version:
Keywords:
Branch:
Affected mCollective version:

rpmlint complains about mcollective being enabled upon installation of
mcollective.

This is due to the init script configuration. From rpmlint:

<pre>

mcollective.noarch: W: service-default-enabled /etc/init.d/mcollective
The service is enabled by default after "chkconfig --add"; for security
reasons, most services should not be. Use "-" as the default runlevel in the
init script's "chkconfig:" line and/or remove the "Default-Start:" LSB keyword
to fix this if appropriate for this service.

</pre>
