Issue #10067 has been updated by Jacob Helwig. Status changed from Unreviewed to Rejected
Marking this one as rejected since `--fingerprint` shouldn't be daemonizing in the first place (and thus should never have created a pid file to remove). I believe the parent ticket (#10066) sufficiently covers the inappropriate daemonizing behavior. ---------------------------------------- Bug #10067: puppet agent --fingerprint should clean up pidfile https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/10067 Author: Hunter Haugen Status: Rejected Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: agent, fingerprint Branch: Related to #10066, if `--fingerprint` is supposed to fork into the background, then it should clean up it's pidfile. Perhaps related to #5246, `--onetime` also doesn't clean up its pidfile and it may be the same fix. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
