Issue #6702 has been updated by Ken Barber. Status changed from Accepted to Needs Decision
I love this idea - but I agree it requires a human to view it. It also requires in some cases the ability to run this across a hell of a lot of OS's. For me - I just want a diff across all the different OS types before I allow a merge ... maybe the best way to start is to just have a vagrant style way of doing this initially. If step 1 is to be able to get users to trigger it - we can work out how to automate it as a magic green/red light later on. ---------------------------------------- Refactor #6702: use ext/facter-diff for regression detection under hudson... https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/6702 Author: Daniel Pittman Status: Needs Decision Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: testing Target version: Keywords: Branch: Affected Facter version: Facter includes the `ext/facter-diff` tool to determine changes in fact values on a platform between runs. It would be nice to use the ability of Hudson/Jenkins to maintain history to allow us to verify changes on our supported Facter platforms between runs. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
