The logs show the following line: <pre> Oct 4 21:09:59 puppet-agent[2753]: Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 400 on SERVER: Kernel.daemonize is too dangerous, please don't try to use it. </pre> We're running Ubuntu 10.04 on EC2 using the official canonical images.
