Issue #11566 has been updated by Ken Barber.

Branch changed from https://github.com/puppetlabs/facter/pull/125 to
https://github.com/puppetlabs/facter/pull/140

Feifei, so because of another problem (#11732) I took on your patch myself and
applied some tests and cleaned it up a tad.

<https://github.com/puppetlabs/facter/pull/140>

But I've credited you in the commit. I hope thats okay :-).

This has been tested on:

* Windows 2003 (local)
* Windows 2008 (local)
* Windows 2003 (EC2) - AMI is ami-453de82c
* Windows 2008 (EC2) - AMI is ami-fdf93094
* Amazon Linux 2011.09.02 (EC2) - AMI is ami-31814f58
* Debian 7 (local)
* Mac 10.7.2 (local)

On the local instances I get good behaviour as would be expected, and on the
EC2 windows instances I get back the correct meta-data.
