Problem: exim-4.69-70.13.x86_64 conflicts with sendmail provided by sendmail-8.14.3-50.9.i586 Solution 1: deinstallation of exim-4.69-70.13.x86_64 Solution 2: do not ask to install a solvable providing sendmail Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/C]: c Puppet will always choose to cancel, so there is no chance to successfully install sendmail. But if you would remove exim with zypper, zypper would automatically install sendmail or postfix. So with some control mechnanism in the puppet manifest it should be possible to install sendmail.
