I want to be clear this ticket is NOT about what version of Rails we use with Dashboard - it's about Puppet and things like storeconfigs and the inventory service. So really it's about what version of ActiveRecord we support. I'll update the ticket name to clarify that. ---------------------------------------- Bug #11885: Decide what version of ActiveRecord we support for use with Puppet https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/11885 Author: Matt Robinson Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Daniel Pittman Category: Rails Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: Branch: I swear there was already a ticket for this, but I can't find it. We use Rails Active Record with things like storeconfigs, but we don't state which version of rails is necessary. Rail 3 at least has some spec failure problems, so it's unclear if it works or is supported. A decision should be made and documented about what's supported. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
