Issue #3803 has been updated by Daniel Pittman.

Description updated
Status changed from Unreviewed to Closed

Don't think this is still a problem, and it sure seems that we have it licked
now.
----------------------------------------
Bug #3803: Updated function creates namespace load order conflict.
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/3803

Author: James Turnbull
Status: Closed
Priority: Normal
Assignee:
Category: functions
Target version:
Affected Puppet version: 0.25.4
Keywords: function load order function already defined.
Branch:

We have a problem with custom function. Sometimes when we change the
function we get this "already defined" message from *all* of our clients:

(/File[/var/puppet/lib/puppet/parser/functions/outliers.rb]/content) content
changed '{md5}e3717c62e78fe0073c45de21d516b99a' to '{md5}56529c6ec1116e3
7f7b93a821ac64c7e'
Could not load downloaded file
/var/puppet/lib/puppet/parser/functions/outliers.rb: Function outliers already
defined

Each client gets this error once and then all is well.
