Issue #12202 has been updated by Banio Carpenter.
I did not restart the server, I just restarted puppet agent after I found it
wasn't working. It has run fine since then (about 4 days). The servers are
currently swapping right now. This is not normally the case.
# free -m
total used free shared buffers cached
Mem: 1740 1684 55 0 18 275
-/+ buffers/cache: 1390 349
Swap: 895 455 440
But I can still run puppetd -t without issue, and puppet agent is working fine.
Do you think that if the server was swapping heavily and puppet tried to run
it would fail, and then continue to fail on all subsequent runs even if the
server stopped swapping?
