Issue #13200 has been reported by Peter Lieverdink. ---------------------------------------- Bug #13200: Missing depend on Ubuntu 8.04 https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/13200
Author: Peter Lieverdink Status: Unreviewed Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: package Target version: Affected Puppet version: 2.7.12rc2 Keywords: Branch: It would seem that when trying to install puppet from the apt.puppetlaps.com repository onto Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy) the package depend for libaugeas-ruby1.8 cannot be satisfied from either the Ubuntu or PuppetLabs repositories, meaning puppet cannot be installed. A trivial backport of the Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid) source packages of libaugeas0 and libaugeas-dev (required to then build a backport of libaugeas-ruby1.8) solves this issue. (see https://launchpad.net/~cafuego/+archive/hardy-backports/+packages) Would it be possible to provide the required packages in the PuppetLabs repo? -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
