Issue #1919 has been updated by Krzysztof Wilczynski.
Hi, What is this fact about? I can't seem to be able to figure it out. Is it about discovering 32 bit libraries vs 64 bit, or both? KW ---------------------------------------- Feature #1919: Please have facter provide something other than arch to distinguish /usr/lib vs /usr/lib64, etc. https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/1919#change-59596 Author: Bret McMillan Status: Needs More Information Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: library Target version: Keywords: facter lib lib64 Branch: Affected Facter version: On x86_64 machines, it'd be very useful to simulate something like RPM's %{_lib} macro, which will "do the right thing"... it's 'lib' on i386 machines and 'lib64' on x86_64 machines, etc. I could write my own based off of 'architecture' from facter, but this seems like a potentially common enough that having facter just provide it from upstream would be a good thing. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
