Issue #14034 has been updated by Anders Larsson. Keywords set to certificate, revoked, nfs, serial reused
This got posted before it was completed. Can't find any way to fix the header or recreate the issue. Not sure if this is a issue with Puppet or if it's as intended that certificate serial numbers are being reused on NFS using default mount options. Steps to reproduce: * Use Puppetmaster and Passenger * Store ssl directory on a NFS mount * Add multiple nodes using script or something * Revoke some node's certificate and see other nodes get revoked aswell. ---------------------------------------- Bug #14034: Serial number reusage with Puppet certificates (MFS) https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/14034#change-60773 Author: Anders Larsson Status: Unreviewed Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: certificate, revoked, nfs, serial reused Branch: When adding multiple new nodes to a puppetmaster (using Passenger+Apache2) during a short interval there's a huge possibility certificate serial number will be reused if NFS is used. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
