Issue #14232 has been updated by Daniel Sauble. Status changed from Needs Decision to Accepted Assignee changed from Daniel Sauble to Daniel Pittman
I have no problem with this. Nodes are uniquely identified by their certname, not their DNS name(s). So, from the perspective of Sites, I don't care if a node has several DNS names. However, because we allow --dns_alt_names to be specified on the command line, we should allow the same option to be specified over the REST API. ---------------------------------------- Bug #14232: Should be able to pass allow_dns_alt_names to api https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/14232#change-62913 Author: Cody Herriges Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Daniel Pittman Category: sites Target version: Waldorf Affected Puppet version: Keywords: Branch: You currently can't sign a certificate over the REST API if it has dns_alt_names since you are unable to pass the needed option. The only item the current api seems to care about in the pson encoded data as part of the PUT is desired_state. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
