If I might add to the issue. I'm in the process of migrating from Redhat to SuSE and this feature would be greatly appreciated for other type of repositories but currently only yumrepo is supported out of box. It would almost be good to have a generic resource type for repositories, similar to how package resource type is, and have a provider tag for the type of repository. ---------------------------------------- Feature #901: package type not automatically dependant on yumrepo type https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/901#change-63251 Author: Digant Kasundra Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: RAL Target version: 3.X Affected Puppet version: 0.24.7 Keywords: Branch: When using a yumrepo type to define yum repositories and using a yum provider for packages, there should be an automatic dependency setup between the two such that the yumrepo is processed first. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
