Currently, whenever there is a network error you get something like:
Error: Could not connect to http://asdasdf:8080
There was a network communications problem
Check your network connection and try again
While being nice and friendly, it doesn't give much for real diagnosis. I'm
hitting a problem in our tests today, whereby the error is being thrown but it
could be any number of network issues.
We need to reflect the original network error message in this exception
