Issue #14442 has been updated by Moses Mendoza.

Status changed from Merged - Pending Release to Closed

Released in 2.7.15rc1.
----------------------------------------
Bug #14442: `puppet help module install` shouldn't reference 'a private
Forge-like repository'
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/14442#change-68214

Author: Justin Stoller
Status: Closed
Priority: Normal
Assignee: Andrew Parker
Category: documentation
Target version: 2.7.x
Affected Puppet version: 2.7.14
Keywords: module, help, doc
Branch:
https://github.com/justinstoller/puppet/tree/bug/2.7.x/14442-dont_refer_to_features_that_dont_exist

When running:

# puppet help module install

I see:

Installs a module from the Puppet Forge, from a release archive file
on-disk, or from a private Forge-like repository.

Yet we don't provide or support software or an external API for others to use
or build off of to create a 'private Forge-like' repository.
