The File resource type does not allow management of named pipes, it would be
nice to have puppet be able to do this.<br />
Currently there is no clean solution for managing named pipes. You can have an
`exec{creates=>...}`, but that will only manage creation of the pipe, to handle
ownership and permissions you'd then have to either make that `exec` extremely
ugly, create other `exec`s, or have a `file{ensure=>present,...}` with a
require on the `exec` to manage perms after the pipe is created.
If this is going to be implemented, it would also make sense to implement named
sockets at the same time.
