Issue #3956 has been updated by Andrew McNaughton.
I'd find this helpful for carrying info on both public an private addresses for a given host. I could then use either address as appropriate in my service definitions. Without this, I have to define 2 host definitions for each host, which tends to make the nagios web interface function less well. OR, I could implement my own version of the nagios_host class. ---------------------------------------- Feature #3956: Custom Object Variables support for Nagios https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/3956#change-70474 Author: Stephen Johnson Status: Accepted Priority: Low Assignee: Category: nagios Target version: Affected Puppet version: 0.25.4 Keywords: Branch: With the release of nagios3 custom object variables has been supported but there is no way to use them within puppet, please see http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/customobjectvars.html. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
