Issue #16433 has been reported by Rahul Gopinath. ---------------------------------------- Feature #16433: Allow services to be uninstalled. https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/16433
Author: Rahul Gopinath Status: Unreviewed Priority: Normal Assignee: Rahul Gopinath Category: service Target version: 3.x Affected Puppet version: 0.22.1 Keywords: Branch: In platforms like solaris, users are allowed to add multiple entries to services that are not tied to any particular package. Puppet allows creation of such services by specifying services manifests for Solaris. Since puppet allows for creation of new services, which are not tied to specific packages, it should also provide facility for removing them. Currently, puppet allows only enable=>false, and ensure=>stopped for services. However, for Solaris, service can be disabled, and stopped which is different from removed completely. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
