Issue #15837 has been updated by Jeff McCune.

Status changed from Tests Insufficient to Needs More Information
Target version set to 3.0.x

Mikael, Lubomir,

Unfortunately I can't mere this without tests and I can write the tests myself
without understanding the expected behavior of Puppet.

To help my understand the expected behavior, could you provide some example
manifests and the expected mount system commands that result from these
manifests? This information will help me write specification tests to
automatically make sure this change in behavior doesn't regress in the future.

Thanks,
-Jeff

Bug #15837: [PATCH] Fix mount with options specified on Linux
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/15837#change-72272

Author: Lubomir Rintel
Status: Needs More Information
Priority: High
Assignee:
Category: mount
Target version: 3.0.x
Affected Puppet version: 2.7.18
Keywords:
Branch: https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet/pull/1021

A hack around mount misbehavior on Mac OS X caused certain options to be set
redundantly, which is forbidden for some options on Linux; such as
"rootcontext".
