Issue #16526 has been updated by Jeff McCune.

I'm going to use the output from my Solaris 10 machine. Please just let me
know if they're basically the same if they are:

root@pe-solaris10:/# /usr/sbin/psrinfo
0 on-line since 10/16/2012 14:06:12
1 on-line since 10/16/2012 14:06:14

'physicalprocessorcount' fact
https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/16526#change-73793

Author: Alex Harvey
Status: Accepted
Priority: Normal
Assignee: Jeff McCune
Category: solaris
Target version: 1.6.x
Keywords:
Branch:
Affected Facter version:

The -p option to psrinfo was not introduced until Solaris 8 leading to the
following failure in Solaris 7 and earlier -

    $ facter -d physicalprocessorcount
    /usr/sbin/psrinfo: illegal option -- p
    usage:
            psrinfo [-v] [processor_id ...]
            psrinfo -s processor_id
value for physicalprocessorcount is still nil
