Issue #2761 has been updated by Adrien Thebo.
On a number of platforms, routing is intimately tied to interface configuration. Per #3153 I have a module that a routing type can be built upon, but I need people testing that module before I can move forward. In addition this runs into the same issue as the network interface type; different platforms have very different ways of handling this, so the routing types will have to be defined types. ---------------------------------------- Feature #2761: Support for routes/ network configuration https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/2761#change-73992 Author: Jonas Genannt Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Adrien Thebo Category: newfeature Target version: Affected Puppet version: 0.25.1 Keywords: network route type provider Branch: Puppet does not have any native provider to configure the network and the routes on an node. It would be nice, if you can configure network interfaces, default route and static routes with puppet. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
