Issue #5218 has been updated by Andrew Parker. Target version deleted (2.7.x)
---------------------------------------- Feature #5218: Invalid settings in config blocks should produce a warning. https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/5218#change-80296 Author: Nigel Kersten Status: Accepted Priority: Normal Assignee: Category: Target version: Affected Puppet version: Keywords: usability Branch: We only have a handful of configuration parameters that actually have any effect in an environment [block], modulepath, manifest and ... maybe that's it? We should emit a warning when people use other parameters inside an environment block, as it's difficult to work out what actually has any effect. [update] - We should really do this for all config blocks. We need to make each parameter aware of the blocks in which it is appropriate. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
