Issue #11675 has been updated by Jeff McCune. Status changed from Merged - Pending Release to Tests Insufficient
Stefan, Unfortunately I have to revert this merge because it's failing the spec tests in Ruby 1.8.7. Please see the [jenkins job](https://jenkins.puppetlabs.com/view/Puppet%20FOSS/view/Master/job/Puppet%20Specs%20(master)/gemset=@noFeatures,ruby=ruby-1.8.7,rvm=%23rvm/627/console) as an example. Next actions are to open a new pull request that reverts the revert with the examples passing in Ruby 1.8.7. Thanks, -Jeff ---------------------------------------- Bug #11675: user expiry option fills up the logs https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/11675#change-81052 Author: Bill Tong Status: Tests Insufficient Priority: Normal Assignee: Stefan Schulte Category: provider Target version: 3.2.0 Affected Puppet version: 2.7.9 Keywords: Branch: https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet/pull/1387 puppet should not change the expiry for a user unless the requested expiry differs from the current expiry. user { "root": uid => 0, ensure => "present", "expiry" => "2015-01-01", } will *always* log every time puppet runs. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
