Steps to reproduce:
root@linux3 [/root]
# puppet resource group testuser ensure=present
Notice: /Group[testuser]/ensure: created
group { 'testuser':
ensure => 'present',
}
root@linux3 [/root]
# puppet resource user testuser ensure=present
Error: Could not create user testuser: Execution of '/usr/sbin/useradd -M
testuser' returned 9: useradd: group testuser exists - if you want to add this
user to that group, use -g.
Error: /User[testuser]/ensure: change from absent to present failed: Could not
create user testuser: Execution of '/usr/sbin/useradd -M testuser' returned 9:
