Full text of the report from one of our customers below: "There's a bug in the Debian packages. Vim-puppet and puppet-el are generated with: Conflicts: puppet (<< 3.1.0-1puppetlabs1) http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-relationships.html#s-conflicts section 7.6: Neither Breaks nor Conflicts should be used unless two packages cannot be installed at the same time or installing them both causes one of them to be broken or unusable. Having similar functionality or performing the same tasks as another package is not sufficient reason to declare Breaks or Conflicts with that package. Vim-puppet nor Puppet-el warrant a Conflicts clause in the control file.
