Issue #19786 has been updated by Gerard Hickey.
Also, an alternitve would be if there was a way to create a log entry at the beginning of the puppet run stating which puppet master was connected to. ---------------------------------------- Feature #19786: Error messages should include puppet master that was connected to. https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/19786#change-87183 * Author: Gerard Hickey * Status: Unreviewed * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: * Affected Puppet version: * Keywords: * Branch: ---------------------------------------- Any error messages that get generated should also include a reference to which puppet master was connected to at the time of the error. If all the environments were simple and the agent only connected to one puppet master, then it is easy to know the puppet master and track down possible problems on the masters. But when the environment grows bigger and the puppet masters are placed behind a load balancer, it is not a trivial task to track down which puppet master was the actual connected master. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
