Issue #18938 has been updated by Charlie Sharpsteen. Status changed from Unreviewed to Duplicate
As reported in #19306 the options parser is currently accepting partial matches but discarding them silently. Until that issue is resolved, the best course of action is to consult the [configuration reference](http://docs.puppetlabs.com/references/latest/configuration.html) and use the exact names that are listed there. ---------------------------------------- Bug #18938: puppet agent -t --env=foo flag no longer works in puppet 3.x https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/18938#change-89072 * Author: William Van Hevelingen * Status: Duplicate * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: * Affected Puppet version: * Keywords: * Branch: ---------------------------------------- Puppet 2.7.x allowed the --env flag instead of --environment. In puppet 3.x it doesn't work and it doesn't error either. I would like to be able to use `puppet agent -t --env=test` again.
