The gems are from rubygems.org. However, it does appear that newer versions
(puppet 2.7.21 and facter 1.6.18) no longer exhibit this problem.
# gem list -r puppet
*** REMOTE GEMS ***
puppet (2.7.21, 2.7.20 ruby)
puppet-lint (0.3.2 ruby)
# gem list -r facter
facter (1.6.18, 1.6.17 ruby)
