Issue #20860 has been updated by eric sorenson. Status changed from Unreviewed to Investigating
Not quite sure this is the best solution -- I'd like to have a way to specify and communicate general language capabilities. Added a link to #20910 which is tracking that. Also note as I put in the pull request this won't work for agent/master mode since the facts are client-side but parsing is server-side. ---------------------------------------- Feature #20860: Facter should support a fact for the running Puppet parser https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/20860#change-91597 * Author: Will Farrington * Status: Investigating * Priority: Normal * Assignee: Will Farrington * Category: library * Target version: 1.7.x * Keywords: * Branch: * Affected Facter version: 1.7.1 ---------------------------------------- With the future Puppet parser in 3.2, modules and related Puppet code will need to start adding special-case code. The easiest way to expose this is via a Fact for the Puppet parser. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
