Issue #20944 has been updated by Charlie Sharpsteen.

Status changed from Unreviewed to Accepted
Keywords changed from augeas, module, apply to module, apply

Looks like the augeas provider looks for lenses in [Puppet's
libdir](https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet/blob/3.2.1/lib/puppet/provider/augeas/augeas.rb#L295-L297)
which means that any lenses brought down via pluginsync will be found, but any
lenses from the modulepath will slip by unnoticed.

When you have custom lenses in your modules lib/augeas/lenses, these are not
loaded by augeas when doing a puppet apply run.
