node /^[[:alpha:]]+-corp-vmps-[[:digit:]]+/ { # This does not work.
When a node matches we get
puppet-master[25985]: Invalid tag ":alpha:-corp-vmps-:digit:" on node
cbg-corp-vmps-99.
in the server log
The following works as expected
node /^\w+-corp-vmps-[[:digit:]]+/ {
we use [[:alpha:]] elsewhere in node definitions but not at the start without
any issues.
