Issue #21693 has been updated by Charlie Sharpsteen. Status changed from Unreviewed to Duplicate Assignee set to Charlie Sharpsteen
Duplicate of #15813. Currently, any single-element array will be magically de-structured by the parser into a scalar value. ---------------------------------------- Bug #21693: Arrays as paramater values are not preserved if the array contains only one element https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/21693#change-94354 * Author: Zach Leslie * Status: Duplicate * Priority: Normal * Assignee: Charlie Sharpsteen * Category: parser * Target version: * Affected Puppet version: 3.2.1 * Keywords: * Branch: ---------------------------------------- Note the following puppet manifest: mytype {'namegoeshere' param => [ { 'ten' => 10, } ] } The data type of 'param' here should be an Array. Though when the code is processed, if the array contains only one element, the data type becomes Hash instead. This is a problem for anyone writing types that need to parse out the data inside of a given paramater. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
