Issue #4995 has been updated by Marc Fournier.

If this can be of any use to people waiting for this, virt-what version 1.13 
was released a few days ago, and adds support for LXC containers.

(virt-what can optionnally be used by facter to provide the facts about the 
virtualisation technology a guest is running in)

The virtual fact for facter should support lxc containers.

We can detect an running lxc master system, if /cgroup is mounted on the system.
