Theo, some time has elapsed and line 123 doesn't look to be relevant anymore, do you mean https://github.com/gentoo/puppet-portage/blob/master/manifests/package.pp#L181 or somewhere else? Please C&P the snippet for future-proofing. Can you also provide an example of what you use now to workaround this and how you envision the fixed portage provider would be used?
