Issue #19242 has been updated by Justin Holguin. Status changed from Unreviewed to Needs More Information
Would you please verify that this issue still affects the current version of puppet? It looks like a number of changes have been made to the way files are handled since 3.1.0. ---------------------------------------- Bug #19242: The static compiler does not infer the puppet server as a file source. https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/19242#change-98358 * Author: Trevor Vaughan * Status: Needs More Information * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: compiler * Target version: * Affected Puppet version: 2.7.20 * Keywords: static compile, file source, puppet url * Branch: ---------------------------------------- At some point, file sourcing was changed such that the puppet server would be inferred from the client configuration. This appears to not work in the statically compiled version which means that you can't use the same manifest set for both uses. I'm marking this as applying to 2.7.20 since that's where it was found, but I didn't see anything relevant in the 3.1.0 changelog. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
