Issue #22867 has been reported by Luis Mayorga. ---------------------------------------- Feature #22867: Add S3 or HTTP puppet enterprise payload argument value https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/22867
* Author: Luis Mayorga * Status: Unreviewed * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: * Affected Puppet version: * Keywords: * Branch: ---------------------------------------- Hi, I am using Puppet Enterprise 3.0.1 Cloud Provisioner Command Line and would like to know if its possible to add s3 or http values to the --installer-payload argument. I believe most of the puppet enterprise releases are stored with the s3 service and would be nice if we can access them directly from our AWS instances instead of uploading from a local machine. The same for http would apply i guess. puppet node_aws bootstrap --image ami-a73264ce --keyname lmo0 --type m1.small --security-group lmo0-secure --login ubuntu --keyfile=~/.ssh/lmo0.pem --installer-answers=~/amazon.puppetenterprise.answers --installer-payload=~/puppet-enterprise-3.0.1-ubuntu-12.04-amd64.tar.gz --install-script=puppet-enterprise -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
