This is a problem because, quite often, our first response to users who are reporting an issue is to have them reproduce the problem again and using --trace. This increases the amount of time it takes to identify the problem and can sometimes stop us from finding the issue at all if either the user is unable to respond (they have other things to do) or they cannot reproduce the issue anymore.
