Issue #23106 has been reported by Timothy Brigham. ---------------------------------------- Bug #23106: puppet cert can't handle removing certificate requests https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/23106
* Author: Timothy Brigham * Status: Unreviewed * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: tidy * Target version: * Affected Puppet version: 3.3.1 * Keywords: * Branch: ---------------------------------------- When working with the puppet cert command it would be extremely useful if the "puppet cert --clean apachetest.cfcausa.org" command would actually remove requests as well as signed certificates. As it stands I am receiving the following message: "Error: Could not find a serial number for apachetest.cfcausa.org". I have been able to work around this by first signing the certificate and then revoking it but I am a bit concerned about signing something that I really just want to remove. Were I to get pulled away in the middle of that process I would be leaving my configuration exposed to a potentially malicious host. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
