I think I may have a fix, though I'd appreciate a developer's opinion since I am quite new to Puppet (and even Ruby, for that matter!) https://github.com/zigg/puppet/commit/b1402f0216535fe5c2f971772eac0effb07a53f8 It appeared to me that the problem was that if yumrepo read inifiles once, they would never be read again. Resetting inifiles to nil after the store operation forces a re-read next time.
