Issue #23372 has been reported by Remko Catersels. ---------------------------------------- Bug #23372: FreeBSD: Puppet triggers loading of ZFS module https://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/23372
* Author: Remko Catersels * Status: Unreviewed * Priority: Normal * Assignee: * Category: * Target version: * Affected Puppet version: * Keywords: * Branch: ---------------------------------------- When puppet starts the puppet ZFS provider issues the zfs command. On FreeBSD this automatically loads the ZFS kernel module. Even when ZFS is not used on that host. The provider should first check if ZFS is enabled or not. If it's not enabled it shouldn't execute any zpool or zfs commands as those will trigger the automatic load of the kernel module. -- You have received this notification because you have either subscribed to it, or are involved in it.
