I�m guessing the logging might have changed to warn to the puppetmaster log in 2.7.x (I didn�t try it with puppet agent using client/server � just using puppet apply). I�d ask the StigProcess guys to update their content at this stage to avoid the warnings. The change I�ve prescribed works in both 2.6.x and 2.7.x so it should be okay. So if there is nothing else � do you mind if I close this ticket now?" Please contact the author of the StigProcess module to correct the escapes (or clone it and correct it yourself). The behavior of Puppet is as specified, the reporting of faulty string escapes is expected. This will not be changed for 2.7. Has something really changed between the two different versions to throw off the modules?
