OS: Ubuntu 12.04.04 LTS FS: ext4/lvm Ruby: 1.8.7 (only because puppet-common still depends on ruby1.8 for precise even though it ships with 1.9.3) ruby -v ruby 1.8.7 (2011-06-30 patchlevel 352) [x86_64-linux] puppet --version 3.4.3 Also Note: A force of a puppet run will complete without error.
