For example, when running the puppet agent in debug mode, the following would appear: Debug: Runtime environment: puppet_version=3.6.0, ruby_version=1.9.3, run_mode=agent, default_encoding=UTF-8 The default_encoding entry will only appear if Puppet is running under Ruby 1.9.3 or newer.
