Thus the Puppet agent skips over them instead of taking action. Finding a way to mark properties as "can only be synched during creation" is a good design question, but I think this issue can be reduced to a case of broken logic. When a zone resource is first created, the property hash looks like: {code} {   ensure => :absent } {code} ...
