I was originally testing with Facter 1.7.4. I then upgraded by running the 2.1.0 installer. The 1.7.4 installer (and presumably others) use pkgroot /Library/Ruby/Site/2.0.0 – the 2.1.0 installer uses /Library/Ruby/Site but does not remove/overwrite the previous versions. So, it's not a problem with Facter, it's a problem with the installer. Add Comment   Facter / FACT-630 factor 2.1.0 errors out on Mavericks Previous release 2.0.2 works.
