Do this instead: Class['::icinga::idoutils'] -> Class['::icinga::web'] With the spaces, the interpretation is like this: if( ... ) { Class ['::icinga::idoutils'] -> Class ['::icinga::web'] } Which means, create a reference to all classes, then create a relationship between a string in an array and all classes, then create a literal array with a string. The change in the future parser is intentional, so closing this as a Won't Fix.
